There was controversy in the Women's World Cup match between Nigeria and South Korea. After 30 minutes of the match, the deadlock was broken after a terrible clearance by Kim Do-Yeon.
The Korean player ended up clearing with her knee and her toe which made the ball go towards her own goal and hardly go off the ground.
A Nigeria attacker was running towards the ball and the ball hit her outstretched arm accidently as she was not expecting the poor clearance.
The VAR reviewed the play and did not see the handball which meant he wrongly confirmed the awarding of the goal,
