Neymar is "anything but a footballer"

Neymar is injured and may not play a part in the second leg of the Champions League last-16 against Bayern Munich. The first thing a fan thinks of when they find this out is that it'll be easier for the German side, but Felix Magath doesn't agree. The ex-player, when speaking to 'Sky Sports', analysed the PSG winger, whose absence he thinks could damage Bayern's chances due to the fact that he doesn't do a lot on the pitch.

"In terms of performance and quality, he's anything but a footballer. What we saw last week, in the first leg, was, in my opinion, old style football. I want to see what a player brings, what he does for the side, what he contributes to the game's success. The fact Neymar is technically good, forget about it. That doesn't make him a footballer. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard", the manager said.

"From that point of view, I don't think he was that good for Bayern that he got injured", the coach reiterated. The Parc des Princes' board are not far from agreeing in terms of the Brazilian.
