Neymar dropped to the floor in tears at the final whistle

Three long months spent desperately trying to get fit in time for this summer's World Cup obviously took its toll on the 26-year-old, who was caught on camera crying at full-time.

The images show Neymar dropping to the floor, covering his face in his hands as tears stream down his face.

His team-mates were quick to offer their support to the emotional star, although he seemed unable to console.

It wasn't an easy match for Brazil, one that they didn't win until late in extra-time thanks to goals from Philippe Coutinho and Neymar himself.
