El-Mhanni filed a complaint back in January against Beardsley, who denies all accusations, and was promptly informed that he would be released by the club in the summer despite the conflict being unresolved.
The 22-year-old is still likely to depart the Magpies ahead of next season, but the independent investigation ruled in his favour and acknowledged that Beardsley had acted in a discriminatory manner.
Beardsley has been suspended for five months, but several members of club staff and academy players are unhappy that the process has taken such a long time to reach a conclusion.
