Newcastle offer themselves as Phil Jones' salvation

One day Phil Jones was one of the defenders with most potential in English football, but his current situation has little to do with what was expected of him. In his 9th season as a Manchester United player, he is closer than ever to leaving.

Injuries left the player severely affected, who still recently renewed with the Red Devils until 2023, but this season he hasn't managed to get game time. He has only played 8 matches, not played in 7 and wants to leave.

Despite this situation, the 'Mirror' assures that the 28-year-old defender continues to have suitors in the Premier League. And one of the clubs that have been most intensely interested in him is Newcastle United.

The Magpies could be the CB's salvation, whose summer exit would be around 13 million euros. United have players such as Maguire, Lindelof, Bailly and the young Tuanzebe ahead of him, so United would look favourably upon Phil Jones' exit.
