Newcastle 'agree' £5m Kiese-Thelin fee

According to English publication the 'Daily Mail', Anderlecht have accepted a £5m offer from Newcastle for striker Isaac Kiese-Thelin.

The Swede spent last season out on loan at Waasland-Beveren, where he scored 19 Belgian Pro Legaue goals.

It had previously been reported that Anderlecht were happy to let Kiese-Thelin leave the club this summer, something seemingly confirmed by this latest revelation.

The 26-year-old now looks set to join Martin Dubravka, Ki Sung-yeung, Fabian Schar, Kenedy and Yoshinori Muto in joining the 'Magpies' ahead of the new season.

Rafa Benitez's side have money to spend following the sale of sttriker Aleksandar Mitrovic to Fulham, though talks over a move for Salomon Rondon appear to have hit the buffers.

A Sweden international, Kiese-Thelin has made 24 appearances for his country, scoring twice.
