The England Lionesses will play top-of-the-table Wales in a World Cup qualification match, with the fixture being coach Phil Neville's first on home territory.
The crowd attendance is expected to exceed 25,000 in Southampton on Friday evening, and a victory would result in England surpassing Wales in Group A.
Recently appointed manager Neville said: ''When I came out of SheBelieves [England were runners-up in the tournament], the thing I thought is that the team needs more belief in the style that I want to play. I think we are making vast strides and a lot of the players are playing in that style now for their clubs, which is great.''
He added: ''More belief, more confidence and that arrogance going out on the pitch and forgetting what is going on off the pitch. We are playing for England and I want us to play with a certain arrogance, swagger and style.''
The Lionesses will benefit from the return of captain Steph Houghton to the international scene following an ankle injury. She said: ''Obviously I was really disappointed to miss out on the manager's first trip and the start of something new, but I am really glad to be sat here and really excited for Friday. For us it's a massive opportunity first and foremost to put on a show but most importantly to get three points."
