Neto, Celta's option after Dituro's departure

After the departure of Matias Dituro, Celta are looking for a starting goalkeeper for next season. The Argentinian goalkeeper returned to Universidad Catolica after a great season playing for Celta.

Now, it was 'Mundo Deportivo' who advanced that the Galician team would be interested in Neto, Barcelona's player. The Brazilian does not count for Xavi Hernandez and is looking for an imminent exit.

However, Celta will not pay any kind of transfer for a player whose contract expires in 2023. An unlikely option that is being considered is a loan for one last season, with Barça paying half of his salary.

Last year, the Catalan giants offered him his release, but he did not want to leave. In Vigo they consider him an experienced goalkeeper after his spells at Valencia, Juventus and Fiorentina.
