Nahki Wells set for season-long QPR loan

Discussions have been going on for the last few days, as QPR look to also bring in Tomer Hemed from Brighton on loan.

Wells is reportedly joining on a one-year loan deal which does not include the option or obligation to make the move permanent following that time.

The 28-year-old had talks with Derby over a potential move, while Burnley looked to sign Matej Vydra from the Rams.

The striker joined Burnley from Huddersfield in 2017, but hasn't started any matches for the side in any competitions.

He has made 10 substitute appearances for the Lancashire side.
