Nagelsmann to be back against Benfica

The Bayern Munich head coach hopes to be back managing Bayern Munich in their Champions League clash against Benfica, following his return from COVID-19 isolation. 

"I'm happy to be back managing on the sidelines", said the coach in a video call ahead of the Champions League group stage clash. 

Nagelsmann informed the media that his latest test results were all negative as he waits for his final test results that will arrive on Tuesday.

The German manager had to follow the first game from his hotel room, as he tested positive at Portugal. He went back to Munich on his own and completed his isolation at home. 

The game against the Lisbon team ended up with a 4-0 win for the Bavarians.
