Everything seems to indicate that this will be Robert Lewandowski's last season as a Bayern Munich player. At 33 years of age, the Pole is clear that the time has come for a change of scenery, as he himself has recently stated.
This will mark the end of eight successful seasons in which the striker has won everything that can be won and scored 344 goals, as well as providing 58 assists.
The loss will be an unparalleled problem for the Bavarian club. Julian Nagelsmann confirmed this after the match against Wolfsburg, in which the former Borussia Dortmund man scored one of the two goals.
"It would be a loss if Lewandowski were to leave and the fact that he is not extending his contract means we will be looking for a new striker at some point next season who can replace Lewy next season," he said.
