Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi is set to join Roma for £27m.

The French international arrived in Italy on Tuesday to complete the deal and undergo a medical after Sevilla and Roma agreed a fee for the player.

N´Zonzi, who has previously played for Blackburn and Stoke, was welcomed at Ciampino airport by a group of Roma fans.

The 29-year-old midfielder was linked with moves to both Arsenal and Manchester City this season, though it looks as if N'Zonzi will play in the Serie A next season.

N'Zonzi played 44 matches in all competitions for Sevilla last season.
