Mustafi returns to Munich to complete his recovery

Levante defender Shkodran Mustafi has returned to Munich (Germany) to finish his recovery from the injury he suffered to his left rectus femoris and for which he underwent surgery on 4th November 2022.

The German centre-back was in Valencia at the weekend and watched his team's match against Granada at the Ciutat, but has now returned to Germany to continue his treatment, according to Valencian club sources.

Mustafi, who underwent surgery in Munich, has since spent most of his time in Germany, where a Levante medical staff has travelled regularly to monitor his recovery.

Although the exact date of his return to the field of play is unknown, Mustafi is expected to return to Spain in the coming days and complete his fitness training in Valencia.
