Mustafi refused to renew with Arsenal in the summer

Will Mustafi remain at Arsenal when the seasons ends? It is in doubt, serious doubt. In the latest words from the player, he made clear that he isn't very concerned about it. 'Mirror', for their part, inform that he rejected an offer to renew in the summer.

The problem is that his current contract ends in June 2021. It was vital that he accepted to commit his future at the club for longer, as by not doing so, he will be able to negotiate with other clubs from January, when he has six months left as a Gunner.

But will he have clubs to negotiate with? It was leaked that Milan have him on their agenda as a possible transfer target. It would be a profitable business to sign him when he leaves his current team, as his market value is 7.1 million and they wouldn't have to pay anything.

The ball is in Arsenal's court. We will have to see if the board insist before the winter transfer market ends to keep him in the squad. Arteta counts on him, although, for the time being, he has only played one match this season- he came on in the second half against Leicester.
