Sevilla are now preparing for a return to training and the club subjected all their squad to a coronavirus test as well as the coaching staff as part of the protocol.
The results have led to one positive case of coronavirus in the team and Sevilla have revealed the identity of the player. It is Munir and he is self isolating in his home in Madrid which is where he had the test done.
The striker is fine and does not have any symptoms, but he must now stay in his own home.
'Sevilla FC immediately informed all the sporting authorities and the relevant health authorities of the news and isolated the footballer. On Sunday, the squad and coaching staff will undergo another PCR test," Sevilla explained.
