Mourinho's highly publicised spat with Antonio Conte on heightens the tension going into the game against Chelsea, but following this match they have home games against Liverpool in the league, Sevilla in the Champions League and Brighton in the FA Cup.
"I think the next few weeks at Old Trafford will be amazing," the Portuguese manager said. "Two big matches against two direct rivals in the Premier League, two knockout matches that, if things go well, can leave us in the quarter-final of the Champions League and the semi-final of the FA Cup."
Mourinho has a few selection issues to deal with, not least Paul Pogba. Mourinho is obviously losing patience with the constant scrutiny over the frenchman, as he hugged a journalist last week who instead chose to talk about Scott McTominay.
He also talked about Romelu Lukaku's form: "Twenty-one goals is not bad at all and I don't measure the players' performances the same way you do.
"I have other points of analysis and I'm happy with Romelu's performance even when he doesn't score goals."
Man United and Chelsea will kick off at 15:05 GMT on Sunday.
