Mourinho eyeing Nice's Seri

Seri, who has impressed on the French Riviera, was at the core of the Nice XI when they shocked Ligue 1 and finished third in the 2016-2017 season. 

The Ivorian's release clause is estimated to be £33 million - a significant sum to pay but at just 26 years old, the midfielder has shown a lot of promise. 

According to the 'Daily Mail', United had scouts at Nice's Europa League tie with Lokomotiv Moscow on Thursday night as they look to find a replacement for the ageing Michael Carrick. 

However, the 'Red Devils' are reportedly not the only team to have clocked the Ivory Coast international's talent. In fact, Catalan giants Barcelona made an enquiry for the midfielder earlier this season. 

Seri is nearing his 100th appearance at Nice, whether he'll play 100 more for the French side remains a mystery.
