42 minutes had been played in the Champions League final when the first goal was scored. Chelsea went 1-0 up thanks to Mount and Havertz.
The Chelsea midfielder got the ball in his own half after a punt forward by Mendy and then a Chilwell pass. The number 19 got past two defenders.
Mount put in a long ball forward for Havertz to run onto. Man City were poor at the back and Chelsea took advantage.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man saw Werner distract an opponent with his run. The German took advantage of the space to run onto the ball before Ederson could get there.
Havertz tried to take it around the keeper and Ederson got a hand to it, but the ball went back to the Chelsea man and he made no mistake with an open net. That was his first goal in this season's Champions League.
