Montpellier's Mavididi to sign for Leicester

Born in England and trained at Arsenal, Stephy Mavididi will be leaving France to return to his homeland and sign for Championship side Leicester City.

According to 'Foot Mercato', an agreement has been reached between the French side and the Foxes for the transfer of the 25-year-old English striker for a fee of €7.5 million plus 10% on any future resale.

Mavididi will undergo a medical on Thursday and is expected to sign for three or four seasons.

The striker made 27 official appearances for his club last season, 14 of them as a starter. The former Dijon man bagged 4 goals and provided two assists.
