Sevilla want and need to reinforce the right back position. This position has almost always been occupied by Jesus Navas in recent years. However, Navas is now 36 and the board have started weighing up signing another footballer to add competition.
According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', Monchi is planning to get hold of Alessandro Florenzi. The footballer plays for Roma, but he does not figure in coach Jose Mourinho's plans so he could join the Andalusian club.
The Italian was on loan at PSG last season and his performances were quite good. He made a total of 36 appearances. Before that, he played half a season at Valencia so he already knows La Liga.
As the previously cited newspaper said, the Italy international has a price tag of eight million euros, an amount which Sevilla could be willing to pay.
