Schurrle spoke to Sky Sports 'Soccer AM' ahead of Fulham's away Premier League clash with Huddersfield town on Monday night, and spoke about many topics regarding the club and his teammates, including penalty takers, aggression and the quickest player in the squad.
Aleksandar Mitrovic moved to Craven Cottage permanently in the summer, after helping the team to achieve promotion from the Championship during a loan spell from Newcastle United last season, and he is the key protagonist for the side both on and off the field.
And teammate Andre Schurrle was not shy in letting everyone know the Serbian's flaws and talents in an interview this week.
When asked about who was the most aggressive player in the Fulham squad, Schurrle confirmed that the Serbian has one of the worst tempers, saying:""When we are losing, Mitrovic can be very aggressive. But in the changing room he is very quiet, off the pitch he is very non-aggressive. He is very calm. He's a very nice guy."
German Schurrle also confirmed that striker Mitrovic is the designated penalty taker for the 'Cottagers', stating: "Mitrovic will be the first to give it a shot when we finally get one - until he misses! He's been practising a lot so he's prepared for when we get one. Maybe they don't know my stats! I can shoot a penalty but my percentage is about 60-40. I like taking them when the opportunity is there I will shoot."
Finally, Schurrle confirmed that Mitrovic is also the muscle man in the Fulham squad, "There is no one stronger than Mitrovic - no chance. When you see him lifting weights, you know it's not possible. I'm lifting about 10-15kgs to work on my biceps and he's lifting double!"
Fulham travel to Huddersfield on Monday night in a battle of the bottom three; the 'Cottagers sit in 18th place just 2 points ahead of bottom side Huddersfield, and so it appears like a must-win game for both teams as they look to rejuvenate their form.
