Takefusa Kubo and Reinier have started Real Madrid's pre-season under Carlo Ancelotti. The Japanese player returned to the Spanish club after his loan spell at Mallorca and the Brazilian ended his two-year spell at Borussia Dortmund. However, both have their immediate future far away from the Santiago Bernabeu.
Spanish La Liga teams can have up to a total of three foreign players in their squad - or players with a non-Spanish passport - and 'Los Blancos' have filled this space with three key players such as Eder Militao, Rodrygo and Vinicius.
A trio who have had a remarkable season, leaving both Kubo and Reinier without a place. While the Japanese player has been linked with Real Sociedad and Valladolid, his team-mate has been linked with Benfica, although in recent times this option seems to have stalled.
The former Getafe player has a contract until 2024 and a market value of 10.3 million euros, as well as a good reputation in Spain. Reinier's contract is longer -until 2026-, although his estimated price is also lower: 4.1 million.
