Pepe Reina has only played one official game this season with Milan. Gianluigi Donnarumma seems to be the number 1 goalkeeper and so the Spaniard's chances are minimum.
At 37-years-old, despite being in the final stretch of his career, the former Napoli player could leave the club in search for more game time...
According to the latest speculation, it seemed that his exit to Aston Villa would be official very soon. However, everything could have gone wrong after this Thursday's meeting. Milan will not let the player go until a replacement arrives.
According to 'AS', the footballer's legal representative, Manuel Garcia Quilon, negotiated the agreement with Milan's directors this Thursday and, after the end of the meeting, he stated that nothing had been agreed as of yet.
"We have still not reached an agreement for Pepe's exit to Aston Villa," his agent stated.
