Milan are looking to sign Liverpool's Croatian defender Dejan Lovren as they look to sign a central defender as quickly as possible as Cristian Zapata is set to leave for free.
Lovren has fallen down the pecking order at Liverpool this season, and played just 18 times as Virgil Van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez sit comfortably ahead of him.
With Zapata set to leave on a free and Mattia Caldara having repeated injury problems, the centre of defence has emerged as a serious area of concern for Milan, who will be in the Europa League next season following another disappointing season where they failed to finish in the Champions League spots once again.
Lovren is supposedly worth 20 million euros, but it is thought Milan believe they could sign the 29 year old for less.
