Milan, who if they beat Cagliari will be the sole leaders in Serie A again, continue to scout the market in search of new players with whom to strengthen the team led by Stefano Pioli.
After the arrival of Soualiho Meïté, and the more than likely signing of Mario Mandzukic, Milan, La Gazzeta dello Sport inform, have reportedly set their sights on two Barcelona players to continue increasing the level of the team.
Samuel Umtiti, who is hardly playing this season, whether it be through injury or his irregular performance, could be one of the first to join the San Siro side.
The main inconvenience is his salary, as Milan, in addition to paying the amount requested by Barca for his transfer, would have to cover the 6 million euros he earns per season. A loan could be another option for the Italian outfit.
And the other player on the Milan agenda is Junior Firpo. The 24-year-old defender has only played 10 matches up until now, starting two of them, so he wouldn't look unfavourably on a change of scenery in search of game time.
Milan, if they manage to sign him, would secure his services to have a guaranteed sub for left-back Theo Hernández, who at these times plays an indisputable role at the club.
