Middlesbrough after Valencia duo

Middlesbrough are keen to sign both Antonio Barragan and Alvaro Negredo from Valencia, according to AS.

Over the weekend, Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert Guillem Balague revealed that newly promoted Premier League side are in advanced talks over the signing of former Man City striker Negredo.

'AS' are now claiming that the forwards teammate Barragan, the defender who had a spell at Liverpool, could also be arriving at the Riverside Stadium this summer. 

Should the La Liga side be unwilling to sell both players, Boro could try to push for a loan deal with an option to buy.
