Messi the legend! 17 consecutive years scoring and equals Raúl

Few players have had such a long and high-level career as Leo Messi. The Argentine scored for the 17th consecutive year since he did so for the first time in 2005.

The goal against PSG from the penalty spot was a new milestone in the Argentine striker's career. He has not failed to score in any year, whether in the group stage or in Champions League knockout rounds.

His legend began in 2005, in a comprehensive victory over Panathinaikos in which he chipped the ball over the keeper to score at will.

Messi, in this way, has equalled the feat of Raúl. The Real Madrid striker also scored in 17 consecutive years, since he got his first goal in 1995 against Ferencvaros until his last for Schalke 04 against Inter Milan.

The Argentine striker continues adding to his legendary status with Barcelona. In total, the Argentine has now scored 119 goals in 148 Champions League matches.
