Argentina are already leading in the 2022 Qatar World Cup final against Didier Deschamps' France.
The opener was found by none other than Argentina's star, Lionel Messi, who calmly slotted past Hugo Lloris in the French goal from 12 yards.
It was undoubtedly a deserved goal, after the South American side had been pushing for the opening 20 minutes, but the chance finally came about after Di Maria was brought down in the box, leaving the referee with no choice but to award the penalty.
Messi then showed why he is considered to be the best in the world after showing no signs of nerves to finish, grabbing himself his sixth of the tournament. 1-0 to the Albieceleste who find themselves ahead in another World Cup final, will they hang on?
