Meret favourite to replace Lloris at Tottenham

Tottenham are looking in the long term. The Premier League side are not just interested in having a good squad for now. 

Spurs are aware that their goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is 36 years old and it is time to look for someone to succeed him. The club are working on that at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. 

The Italian paper 'La Repubblica' says that Alex Meret is on Antonio Conte's agenda. He is performing at a great level and he is untouchable for Napoli. 

At Napoli, they managed to complete his renewal until 2024 just a few months ago, but Spurs do not care about that detail. On the contrary, that is when Lloris' Spurs contract actually expires. In any case, Tottenham are thinking of fighting tooth and nail to persuade him to move to the Premier League.
