As many as seven first team players have withdrawn for Scotland's upcoming matches against Albania and Israel, leaving Alex McLeish with a selection headache.
Nonetheless, the Scotland boss remains confident that his depleted squad can deliver in the two must win Nations League matches.
McLeish has insisted that he has enough depth to his squad to name a team that can attain a positive scoreline in both fixtures.
He told 'Sky Sports': "I don't think anybody can say McLeish hasn't experimented, that he has not looked far and beyond to see if some guys can be international footballers. I do really believe that we have the players to cope in terms of what we have at our disposal."
The Scotland manager concluded: ""We have got a plan in place and we are very confident about it."
