Mbappe to miss US tour for holiday, won't have nose job

Kylian Mbappe will not undergo surgery on his nose following the fracture he suffered on 17 June during the European Championship and began his holiday on Wednesday with no return date until the beginning of the second week of August. As a result, he will not be available for the tour of the United States.

The new Real Madrid player, who was presented on Tuesday in style at the Santiago Bernabeu, underwent medical tests before the event and the club's doctors decided not to operate on the broken nose he suffered a month ago and are relying on rest during the holidays to get him back to 100 per cent.

Since that 17 June, with the blow with Kevin Danso, Mbappe has played four games - three of them with a protective mask. A nose fracture that prevented him from being at 100% physically at the European Championship and from which, according to ‘EFE’, they established that he can recover without the need for surgery.

Moreover, Real Madrid will prioritise Mbappe's rest after a long season before he travels to the United States tour, where Real Madrid will head to on 28 July for three friendlies against AC Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea.
