Mbappe to miss Trophee des Champions and six other big names left out of team

Galtier has left the exit door wide open for a number of players currently in the PSG squad. Rafinha, Kurzawa, Draxler, Ander Herrera, Kehrer and Wijnaldum, have all been left out of his squad for the Trophee des Champions on Sunday.

The half dozen are the principal absentees from Galtier's first official squad list of the new 2022/23 season which will take flight with the duel against Nantes in the fight for the first piece of silverware of the season.

Leo Messi's and Neymar's names were on the list. However, Mbappe's was not as he is suspended for the match in Tel Aviv (Israel).

Vitinha and Mukiele form part of Galtier's 22 man squad after arriving to the club during the current transfer window. However, another summer arrival, Hugo Ekitike, does not feature on the list.
