Mbappe demands 100 million from PSG for non-payment of salary and bonuses

The relationship between Kylian Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain is completely broken. With the striker already out of the team, signed by Real Madrid and awaiting his presentation, the player has demanded 100 million euros from the French club.

'L'Equipe' reported the situation at the same time the striker was on the bench against the Netherlands. Mbappe's legal representatives demanded the 100 million euros from the French club.

The money Mbappe is claiming is due to unpaid wages for April and May as well as bonuses earned during the season just ended, including a loyalty bonus.

The Parisian side, according to the source, are not willing to pay him the June salary, based on article 259 of the professional football charter which states that "clubs must pay wages to contracted players no later than the last day of each month".

Mbappe would also still have to receive some of the bonuses he was due to receive during the season just ended. The claim is a new step in the stormy relationship between the French star and club president Nasser Al Khelaifi.

The player, who had been sidelined during pre-season almost a year ago, was able to return to the first-team squad after reaching a verbal agreement with the president that, if he left without a transfer, he would forgo some bonuses.

But it was a verbal agreement without any document being signed, recalls 'L'Equipe', which notes that the player "clearly intends to leave nothing behind".
