FFF President Noel Le Graet spoke about Zinedine Zidane with regards to the rumours which suggest the ex-Real Madrid manager could have gone to Brazil. What is more, he said he would not have called him to become France manager.
"Zidane to Brazil? I've got nothing to shake up, he can go where he wants! At club level or even nationally, I almost don't believe in what worries him. Did he get in touch with me to manage the national side? Of course not, I wouldn't have even answered the phone", Le Graet said.
They were words which were quickly spread around France after Deschamps signed his extension with 'Les Bleus'. What is more, 'Zizou' had already been linked with the job of the 2018 World Cup winners.
In case it was worth it, star Kylian Mbappe came out to defend the manager who is currently a free agent: "Zidane is France, we don't disrespect legends like that".
