Newcastle are still trying to improve their squad to consolidate their place among the best teams in the Premier League. They know that they are not going to be able to invest 250 million euros every season and, therefore, they are looking for young players to sign at a more affordable price.
According to 'Daily Express', the English side are targeting the Argentinian player Maximo Perrone. They will make an offer, as they want to add him to their squad in January.
The 19-year-old has already shown his good performances and his quality this season with Velez Sarsfield. His main virtues are his ball skills and his ability to defend, which is exactly what Newcastle are looking for. Moreover, Perrone already has experience of high-level competition because the midfielder has already played in the Copa Libertadores.
According to 'The Sun', Newcastle are preparing 80 million euros for the winter transfer window to give the team a boost in the tough fight to get into the Champions League.
