Brazilian defender Marquinhos is set for a big move to Serie A if PSG sign Matthijs de Ligt from Ajax in the summer.
According to Sport Mediaset, if PSG seal the deal for De Ligt, which seems entirely possible as De Ligt's agent, Mino Raiola, is in Paris to finalise the move, then Marquinhos is free to go.
With De Ligt set to cost the French champions £71m, the estimated £53m they could get back from selling Marquinhos is thought to be the main reason for the Brazilian central defender's potential departure.
The Italian champions are in the market for a central defender, and although it seems they will miss out on De Ligt, despite Cristiano Ronaldo asking De Ligt to join him at Juventus after the Nations League final, they could be about to sign Marquinhos, who will be in action this summer for Brazil in the Copa America.
