Marquinhos renews with PSG until 2024

Marquninhos sees an improved salary and an extension to his contract with PSG, because his former contract was only until June 2022. Now it will be until 2024. 

At 25-years-old, Marquinhos has been very important over the years at the Parc des Princes, now he plays alongside Thiago Silva in defence for Tuchel's team.

"The Brazilian international defender has become one of the most successful players in Paris-Saint-Germain history," the club stated in a report.

Marquinhos, who has scored 20 goals in 270 matches, has won 19 titles with PSG, including five Ligue 1 titles in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019.

His relevance this season has been demonstrated by the captaincy he has held when Thiago Silva has been absent. Marquinhos is the present and future of PSG.
