Earlier in the month when West Ham were defeated 3-0 by Burnley, fan demonstrations and pitch invasions disrupted the match several times.
West Ham have issued lifetime bans to five supporters who were connected to the interferences, and further punishments were handed to those who shouted abuse or threw objects at club owners David Gold and David Sullivan.
Speaking to the official website, captain Mark Noble said: ''Our last home game against Burnley was one of my toughest days in nearly 20 years at West Ham, and I never want to see scenes like that again. None of us do.''
He called on fans to rally behind the team and not draw negative attention to the club: ''We need everyone to be together and to be behind the team, because positive vibes inspire the players...on the flip side, negativity can affect the players' concentration and confidence.''
West Ham are sitting in 17th position in the Premier League, just two points clear of the relegation zone.
