Charlie Austin, Shane Long and Danny Ings have all featured up front for Southampton this season, however they all remain doubtful having sustained minor injuries.
Austin has a hamstring issue, Long is suffering with a toe injury and Ings - who is expected to play - still has a blister suffered during defeat at Everton four weeks ago
"There's a little bit of a concern with Shane and Charlie leading into the game,'" Hughes told the 'Daily Mail'.
"They haven't trained this week. We're hoping we're going to get them back on Saturday or Sunday. Hopefully that will give us the options that we want. They are not back training with the group.
"They are just niggles. Charlie has got an issue with his hamstring. Shane had to come off against Palace with an issue with his toe. Both injuries have settled down and we hope to get them back into the group on Saturday.
"Danny's just a really bad blister. He wore studded boots at Everton, and tore a big chunk of skin, layers of skin came away so it's very tender. He's not having those jabs now. Clearly the break has helped him. We don't anticipate him having any problems. It is still a little bit tender but he's trained for the last couple of days."
Southampton had a cluster of players called up for international duty, however the former Wales manager believes that they will all return fit.
"None of the internationals have reported injuries as we stand, so we're hoping none are reported today," he said.
"Hopefully they don't come in today and report any issues. As far as we know everyone had decent game time, good experiences and that's the best you can hope for from an international break.'
