Think Jim Montgomery in the 1973 FA Cup final or David Seaman's incredible stop to deny Derby County's Paul Peschisolido in the semi-finals of the same competition in 2003, Marchesin's latest save is up there with the lot.
During a CONCACAF Champions League game between America and Tauro, the Argentine was forced into action and he passed the test and then some.
The 29-year-old saw an attemped ball out deflected into the path of an opponent, who took aim from long range, with Marchesin stranded far away form his goal line.
Many goalkeeper would have given up there, but not Marchesin, who raced back and somehow clawed the ball off the line.
His efforts were worthwhile, as America ran out 4-0 winners in the game.
