PSG were playing with two right backs, Dani Alves and Thomas Meunier, when Real Madrid scored their third of the night, perhaps hoping they would be able to strike on the counter attack. Marcelo, however, was able to get in behind them both to be in the perfect position when Asensio crossed in.
As with the second goal, luck was on Real Madrid's side, after Ronaldo had scored with his knee. But they all count, especially at this crucial stage of the Champions League.
At the beginning of the game Marcelo looked like he wasn't going to be able to see out 90 minutes because of a problem with his right arm after a fall. However, he didn't just finish, he finished with some style.
