Marcao given eight game ban for attacking his teammate
The Turkish football disciplinary committee have severely punished Marcao Teixeira, who was involved in a strange incident between Giresunspor and Galatasaray.
In the second half of the clash, the Brazilian had an argument with his teammate Karem Akturkoglu which saw Marcao given a straight red card with more than half an hour left to play.
He punched and headbutted his teammate and the former Athletico Paranaense player has been hit with an eight match suspension.
