Marc Roca heading for Arsenal

Marc Roca's future lies in England. Shortly after Everton's interest came to light, Arsenal have raced ahead of them in the fight to sign him. 'Sport' is reporting that the first steps have been taken for him to become an Arsenal player next season. 

It is not yet known whether there has been any offer put on the table. What is known is that both clubs have decided to finish off the conversations once the coronavirus crisis has passed. In the meantime, there can still be approaches by phone, but not in person.

The market value of the player is 20.3 million euros, but his buyout clause, according to the previously cited source is 40 million. This means that the signing will cost around 30 million if Espanyol do not demand the buyout clause.

The reason Marc Roca has received interest from two Premier League clubs in so little time is, apart from his performances on the pitch, the fact he has changed agency. Now, his agent is more international so more doors have been opened to him.
