Mandzukic passes medical

Milan already has one of its star reinforcements ready for this winter market. Mario Mandzukic will soon be a 'Rossoneri' striker after passing his medical examination in Milan.

The Croatian striker was seen leaving the La Madonnina clinic at midday on Monday, where he underwent a medical check-up. The deal with Milan is now closed, according to TMW.

Mandzukic was released from Al-Duhail Catar last summer. During the last months he was linked to other clubs like Fiorentina, Galatasaray, Olympique de Marseille or Inter, but finally it is Milan who will take over his services.

The 34-year-old Croatian is expected to sign a contract for the next six months with an option to renew until 2022 depending on various objectives. His salary is reported to be around two million euros.
