With that all settled, let's warm things up with some possible lineups!!
  • PRVW
As for United, there are no injury concerns as Luke Shaw, Victor Lindelof, Jonny Evans, and Mason Mount are the absentees for the game. Diogo Dalot is back available after having served his suspension.
  • PRVW
James Milner has been absent since August due to a hamstring injury and won't return this weekend. Meanwhile, Evan Ferguson, Jack Hinshelwood and Mats Wieffer are all edging towards their comebacks but may be included in the travelling matchday squad.
  • PRVW
But Hurzeler's men will have to do so without Igor. The defender will miss the remainder of the season with a hamstring injury, picked up in the 1-1 draw against Arsenal on January 4. Ferdi Kadioglu is also out after undergoing surgery on his toe - a return date is yet to be confirmed by the club.
  • PRVW
Brighton have United in their own home twice in a row and will be looking to make it a third time as a win would move them up to 9th place - ahead of Fulham who are currently two points in front.
  • PRVW
The Seagulls' trip to Old Trafford comes after their 0-2 win at Ipswich Town, which ended their eight-game winless run in the Premier League and offered a much-needed confidence boost.
  • PRVW
Currently sitting in 13th place with 26 points, a win would take United to places ahead and behind their opponents today Brighton, who sit bang-on in the middle of the table in 10th.
  • PRVW
Results are improved for the Red Devils, as the win over the Saints came at the back of a crucial victory against Arsenal in the FA Cup and a draw to hold back Premier League leaders Liverpool at Anfield.
  • PRVW
He added: "We had seven trainings together in 14, 15 games. It's really hard, but we have to continue and try to win it. Sometimes playing good, sometimes playing bad." Amorim accepted his side did not play well against Southampton and indicated several players were tired, including Manuel Ugarte, whose own goal late in the first half gave the visitors the lead.
  • PRVW
Amorim also shared his thoughts, warning that the "rollercoaster" season will continue as players are still learning to adapt to his system. "I think it's going to be hard until the end of the season," Amorim said. "It's going to be a little bit of a rollercoaster. Then it depends on the time you have to train. We are still in the (FA) Cup and we have UEFA games for the Europa League. Then it's important also to focus on next Thursday to win and to try to be in that top eight", he said.
  • PRVW
"It's important to win. This gives us confidence for the next game. We have to continue like this and play like this. I have confidence in this team. We can win every game. In the end we showed that we were very good," he added.
  • PRVW
Diallo spoke post-match, insisting that despite the win United need to improve on their performance. "We weren't good enough. We need to be hungrier in the final third of the pitch. We showed at the end that we were the better team," he told TNT Sports.
  • PRVW
The Red Devils are looking for a second consecutive win in the league after a dramatic victory over the Saints (3-1) midweek. Southampton were on course for only their second league win, but Amad Diallo's 12-minute hat-trick completely turned the game around and sealed the three points for Ruben Amorim's side.
