Manchester United have not had the start to the season they would have liked. The Red Devils lost 0-2 to Tottenham Hotspur last week. Moreover, they struggled to a 1-0 win against Wolverhampton.
The Manchester outfit have also had to deal with a number of problems including injuries to Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount, a decision on the future of Mason Greenwood and a penalty controversy in the Spurs game.
As a result, they have not obtained the results they had hoped for. Ex-Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov spoke about United's form in recent matches in an interview for 'Betfair'.
"United need to f*****g wake up as soon as possible. The second half at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for United was especially bad, pretty much the same as they played in their first game against Wolves," he said.
"Concentration and consistency help you to score. This is where United need that typical centre-forward striker who is 90-95% going to score with the good chances they create. Hojlund needs to come back and be integrated into the team injury free, although they can't rush it."
Erik ten Hag's men face Nottingham Forest on Saturday as they look to end their run of poor results. Rasmus Hojlund, who was signed in the summer transfer window, is expected to play at Old Trafford for the first time.
