Man Utd look to cut Weghorst next term, Everton interested

Wout Weghorst joined in the January transfer window to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, who left Manchester United in November. However, the Dutchman has failed to live up to their expectations.

The 30-year-old has scored just two goals and provided two assists since signing for the Red Devils. As a result, the board will be looking for a new striker in the next transfer window.

Erik ten Hag's side will not sign Weghorst permanently and he will have to return to Burnley at the end of the season, according to 'TalkSPORT'.

The same media outlet reports that the Dutch striker could continue playing in the Premier League next season for both Burnley and Everton. The Toffees are interested in signing him and he could join in the summer.
