Man City had sleepless night in Dortmund

Dortmund fans tried to make good use of home advantage ahead of the important Champions League tie with Man City. 

In the build up to the game, fans of the German side wanted to liven up the atmosphere on Tuesday night. 'The Guardian' reports that several supporters of the Bundesliga club set off fireworks near Man City's team hotel. 

The newspaper says that three fireworks "of industrial power" were set off at 2.45am, 4.30am and 5.30am, which meant the players woke up. 

"They were not just simple fireworks. We are talking about industrial style fireworks. The explosions were incredible. It seemed like the hotel was shaking," the mmedia outlet said. 

The fight for a semi-final spot has begun and Dortmund fans seem to be using all the tricks in the book to make Man City feel as uncomfortable as possible.
