Mallorca dream of Roma target Hummels

At the age of 35, Mats Hummels is about to embark on a new challenge in his career. After five seasons in his last spell at Borussia Dortmund, the defender announced on Friday 14 June that he will leave the club after the end of his contract.

From July 1, the player will become a free agent to sign for any club, although he is already sounding out some options. In fact, according to 'Mallorca Zeitung', Mallorca are negotiating with the player for his arrival next season.

"It's just a question of details," said football agent Timo Boll, who is handling the operation. Talks began on Monday and everything is practically done, although it should be mentioned that in Italy they don't see it that way.

'Sky Sport' reported that the defender has offered himself to Roma, who are assessing the viability of his arrival: contract, salary, signing bonus, among other things. In the coming days there could be news about the future of Hummels as Timo Boll indicated that the German defender will be in Mallorca until Friday and wants to have everything closed before his departure.
