Malaga confirm Hugo signs for Madrid

He made his debut with the first team, but since then has started to become 2nd fiddle. He has rejected several contract renewal offers, and they ended up choosing to let him go, the most consensual solution.

At 19, he will be able to continue his progression at Real Madrid. This season he has played 18 matches, playing 13 with Atlético Malagueño, and 5 under Víctor Sánchez del Amo, who has now left the club.

Malaga outlined a cordial farewell in their statement: "Málaga Club de Fútbol are pleased with Hugo's growth within its youth academy and wish him good luck in his professional future". His progression is expected to continue.
